Nacala Logistics Sets New Record in General Cargo Transportation

Nacala Logistics has reached a significant milestone in general cargo transportation, surpassing its 2023 performance by a wide margin.

In 2024, the company transported an impressive 647 kilotons (kt) of miscellaneous cargo, marking an increase of 117 kt over the previous year’s total of 530 kt.

This achievement results from strategic investments by the company, including the launch of cargo transportation services to Zimbabwe and the resumption of train operations in the Kanengo-Mchinji region.

These initiatives have bolstered regional connectivity and contributed to economic growth along the Nacala Corridor.
