Prime Insurance Company LTD has taken a bold step in supporting Malawian sports by committing to a 20-million-kwacha sponsorship for Moyale Football Team. This strategic investment, revealed at Moyale Barracks, promises to elevate the team’s competitive edge for the upcoming season.
The comprehensive package includes two sets of jerseys, 40 tracksuits, 30 pairs of boots, 36 t-shirts, 30 Pairs of sheen guards, 30 bibs and two pairs of gloves, ensuring the team is well-equipped.
Speaking during the unveiling, Andrina Mchiela, Board Chairperson of Prime Insurance, emphasized the broader significance of the partnership.
“This isn’t just about football; it’s about empowering our Defence Force and advancing sports in Malawi. Moyale’s top-eight finish last season showcased their potential, and we’re excited to play a part in their journey to greater heights,” she said.
Mchiela also announced plans to sponsor Moyale’s netball team, signaling Prime Insurance’s deeper involvement in promoting sports development.
Lieutenant Colonel Hebert Lemani, Commanding Officer of Moyale Barracks, expressed gratitude for the timely support.
