Supapesa Limited Rewards Lucky Winners with K32 Million
Supapesa Limited, a Malawian-owned sports betting company, has awarded two lucky winners a combined total of K32 million in prizes. The winners were announced during a ceremony held in Blantyre on Tuesday.
Josiah Kachali, the company’s Commercial Operations Director, reaffirmed Supapesa’s dedication to supporting the community’s economic growth through responsible sports betting.
“We aim to provide user-friendly platforms for sports betting enthusiasts while contributing positively to the community,” Kachali said.
One of the winners, Pharess Justin, expressed her joy after winning K10 million on her first attempt with Lucky Yanga.
“I didn’t know what I was doing until I received the call that I was a winner,” she said. Justin plans to use her winnings to expand her business, pay her children’s school fees, and build a house.
She also encouraged fellow sports bettors to practice responsible betting to avoid addiction.
Another winner, a Mzuzu-based player, walked away with K22 million after using Supapesa’s Bet Yanga online product.
Supapesa Limited, which began operations in Malawi in 2018, continues to promote sports betting while emphasizing responsible gambling practices.
