Philanthropist Supports Kawale Orphanage with Generous Donation
Cecilia Naadensua Quarshie, a Ghanaian resident of Finland, extended her generosity to Kawale Orphanage in Lilongwe during her visit to Malawi.
While attending an EU First Summit at the Bingu International Conference Centre (BICC), Cecilia took time to deliver various supplies to the orphanage.
In an interview with GBS TV, Cecilia described herself as a dedicated philanthropist who enjoys supporting communities wherever she travels.
The Kawale Orphan Care management team, along with local chiefs, expressed their gratitude, noting that the orphanage rarely receives such visits due to being primarily run by pastors and chiefs from Kawale 1 and Kawale 2.
The donation included clothing, traditional beads, candy, wigs, and cosmetics aimed at empowering widowed women with new skills.
Additionally, Cecilia provided Christmas supplies to ensure the orphanage’s children and caretakers have a memorable holiday season.
