FAM President Fleetwood Haiya Meets CAF Leadership in Egypt

Football Association of Malawi (FAM) President Fleetwood Haiya is in Egypt at the invitation of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) leadership.

The visit took place at CAF’s headquarters in 6th of October City.

During his meeting with CAF General Secretary Veron Mosengo-Omba, discussions centered on CAF’s support for Malawian football, FAM’s strategic plan, and CAF’s broader vision for the sport across Africa.

“This visit aligns perfectly with our vision for Malawi’s football transformation agenda,” President Haiya stated.

In addition, President Haiya met with CAF Head of Zonal Affairs, Genani Korra, further strengthening partnerships aimed at advancing football development in Malawi.
