Mzuzu police have arrested two individuals, Tonex Mussa, 40, and Haji Nikisi, 26, in connection with the theft of four motorcycles from Enukweni Trading Centre.

The arrests were made following an investigation by Enukweni Police detectives on the night of October 29, 2024. Four complaints were received involving a similar pattern of motorcycle thefts.

It was found that the suspects stole a King Lion motorcycle (1-50) on October 23, 2024, from Joseph Chavula. Chavula had parked the motorcycle at Enukweni depot while shopping in the market. He reported the incident to Enukweni Police, which led to an investigation and the subsequent arrests.
