Netball Association of Malawi, Mibawa TV Partner to Promote Netball Development
Netball Association of Malawi (NAM) and
Mibawa Television (MTV) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on promoting netball development and broadcasting in Malawi.
Speaking to media on Friday in Blantyre,NAM President, Vitumbiko Gubuduza, disclosed that the MoU aims to broadcast live netball matches and events organized by NAM, promote netball development programs and initiatives, and enhance the visibility and profile of netball through quality broadcasting.
“Mibawa Television will broadcast all NAM-organized events, including national and international matches and that NAM will provide Mibawa Television with exclusive broadcasting rights.”Gubuduza said.
She further Said the partnership will also involve collaborative marketing and promotional activities.
Tama Nkhwimba, Acting General Manager for Mibawa Television, expressed gratitude to NAM, describing the partnership as a milestone of mutual benefit.
“This MoU will provide a platform for league matches to reach the intended audience, showcase player talents and skills locally and internationally, and elevate the sport’s profile,”
“Together, we can create lasting memories for fans and players in Malawi and abroad.”said Nkhwimba.
Mibawa Television, established in 2013, is a private-owned television network with a focus on sports and entertainment.
