ECGTJN Youth Week: Empowering Young Souls for Church Growth
The Enlightened Christian Gathering, The Jesus Nation (ECGTJN), in the Southern and Eastern Regions, has successfully concluded its annual Youth Week, held from Monday to Saturday. The event witnessed remarkable testimonies from youths, inspiring the regional leadership.
Youths from districts like Nsanje, Chikwawa, Zomba, Mangochi, Mulanje, Blantyre, Liwonde, Mwanza, Mneno, and Chiradzulu shared personal development and character changes attributed to the spiritual guidance and entrepreneurship lessons of Prophet Shepherd Bushiri, Prophetess Mary Bushiri, and local pastors.
Regional Pastor, Wiselady Anne Khauya, expressed excitement, stating, “This testimonial gathering is a significant milestone in our church’s growth. Youths from various districts shared passionate testimonies, influencing others and contributing to our nation’s spiritual awakening.”
Khauya appealed to the leadership to continue supporting youths financially, enabling them to sustain themselves amidst economic challenges and avoid negative influences.
Frida Malata, Southern and Eastern Regional Youth Coordinator remarked, “Hosting this event was challenging, but it brought friends together for the Lord’s glory. My life has transformed, and I encourage others to emulate ECGTJN youths’ examples.
Among other youths who testified Clement Daniel, Milton Holeya, and Alinafe Simbota, also, commended the leadership of Prophet Dr.Shepherd Bushiri and her wife Mary Bushiri for encouraging them to have Interpreneirship minds alongside being a generous giver,
The week’s activities included a solidarity match, football, netball, and drafts, concluding with a celebration at ECGTJN’s regional headquarters in Blantyre under the theme “Identity Reloaded.” Over 200 youths attended the gathering.
Founded by Prophet Dr. Shepherd Bushiri, ECGTJN is a Pentecostal denomination dedicated to empowering young souls for church growth and personal development.
