Sunganimoyo escapes death from MCP security team

Social commentator Isaiah Emmanuel Sunganimoyo, claims to have escaped death from a group of Malawi Congress Party (MCP) Security Team who descended at him at the party’s regional office in Lilongwe only to be rescued by the hand of God.

Saturday 13th July, 2024 will go down in the history of Sunganimoyo’s book when unexpected turned to be expected, long trusted members of the MCP chased him out of the party’s office as a dog prompting him to send a video clip to President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera crying before him.

In the video clip to President Chakwera, Sunganimoyo is being seen crying to the party for forgetting the good job he has been doing to the party to defend and protect the name of President Chakwera from accusations levelled against him from Malawians.

Speaking through a video clip, Sunganimoyo said he was invited to a one -on -one meeting with a senior member of the MCP at the Regional office in Lilongwe not knowing that the MCP was meeting strategizing itself on other activities.

He said upon his arrival, he sent a message to the one who invited him but at no sooner, he was greeted by angry faces of the MCP Security team one of them of being Gift Banda who later sent his colleagues to meet him at the entrance to leave immediately from the premises.

The social commentator said he wanted to be given reasons on why he has to vacate the place having wronged anyone and his coming at the place was through an invitation of senior member of the party but this did not help.

“I cried myself for what offence I have committed to the MCP security team leading them to chase me like a dog out of the MCP Regional offices,” said Sunganimoyo.

He said today, he has now come to understand that the good work he has been doing of protecting the name of President Chakwera from insults and castigations, others in the party were not happy and wanted to bury him while alive.

Sunganimoyo said the development forced him to cry before President Chakwera and other prominent members of the party so that they see him shedding tears down his cheeks for the unexpected circumstances he has met at the party’s regional offices.

He recalled that his life was in danger when at one time he reported to President Chakwera through a video clip that hunger is biting hard people of the central region beside no one telling him about the situation of hunger in the central region.

The social commentator said no one in the party thanked him for letting President Chakwera aware that some families in the central region are in desperate mood crying to government to distribute to them free food just the same as government was doing in other regions of Malawi.

He said since then, he has been receiving death threats through his phone calls with many fingers pointing at him as a wrong person for informing President Chakwera of the hunger situation in the central region, the region the MCP enjoys grassroot support.

Sunganimoyo has thanked the MCP for teaching him a good lesson that he can be killed while supporting the party and President Chakwera asking Gift Banda what wrong he has committed warranting him sending colleagues to kill him.

He has finally apologized to the opposition parties DPP, UDF, and UTM that he was in the forefront castigating and insulting them at the expense of protecting and defending the good name of President Chakwera and the MCP not knowing what tomorrow will be.
