Macra’s Deputy Director of Consumers Affairs, Kelious Mlenga said they aim to reach out to primary and secondary schools in rural areas with computer labs to enhance technology among students.

Meanwhile, Senior Chief Kambwiri called on the students to embrace the development; saying they are lucky to get the laboratory.

Macra is implementing a ‘Connect-A-School’ project with funds from Universal Service Fund.

Computer labs also allow students to gain hands-on experience in computer science, particularly in areas like system and network administration . Additionally, computer labs are essential for colleges and universities to provide information technology training and enhance students’ IT skills .

Electricity allows for better lighting conditions, controlled classroom temperature, and improved productivity and well-being of students and teachers .

The hostel life also allows the girls to learn important life skills, such as time management, teamwork, and communication and fosters a sense of community. The hostel staff plays a crucial role in creating a nurturing and supportive environment for the girls, which is essential for their overall development.
