Moyale hope to bounce back to winning ways – Mwansa

Moyale Barracks Head Coach, Prichard Mwansa said the team is looking forward to returning to winning ways this weekend as the team welcomes Chitipa United at Mzuzu Stadium.
The Lions of Kaning’ina have recorded two consecutive draws against Dedza Dynamos and City rivals, Mzuzu City Hammers in their previous two games.
Mwansa said the team is taking a game as it comes and predicts a tough game against struggling Chitipa.
“This is going to be a very good and tough match. Chitipa United are a very good team, but we are looking forward to winning the game. We will try to control the game and get the points, like I said already, we expect it to be tough,” he said.
Though Moyale Barracks thrashed Chitipa United 4-1 in their last meeting, the Lions of Kaning’ina have been struggling against the Lions of Forthills in their last five games, losing twice and drawing twice.
McNebert Kazuwa Chitipa United’s Coach said despite playing away but he will make sure to win the game.
“We are playing away yes but we will make sure to win and collect maximum points over Moyale,” he said.
The first meeting between the two teams was in 2017 when Moyale Barracks won 1-0 in the first round before completing a double with a 3-2 win in the second round.
Chitipa United are struggling this season, winning just one game in their opening five games, losing four to FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, Mighty Tigers, Silver Strikers, and Rookies while Moyale Barracks have just lost one game in five fixtures, won two and drew two.
