Moyale and Dedza share a spoil, as Karonga beat Tigers
Moyale Barracks on Sunday failed to use home ground advantage as a share point each with Dedza Dynamos in the Tnm Superleague encounter.
Despite dominating in the First half the host missed a lot of chances, especially through Raphael Phiri Charles Nkhoma, and Emmanuel Allan.
Dedza resurrected in the second half and missed some chances, thanks to Semion Harawa who guarded the goalpost brilliantly.
At the end of the end of the regulation time Moyale 0, Dedza Dynamos 0.
Speaking in a post-match interview Prichard Mwansa Moyale Barracks’s Coach said it was a tough game and collecting a point is much better than none.
“It was tough though we missed a lot of chances, especially in the first half, a point is much better than none, there are still more games to come we will do better,” said Mwansa.
Andrew Bunya Dedza Dynamos Coach said his boys played well only that officiation was just poor.
“We played well as you witness yourself but other decisions were made by referees I don’t know what happened to them, all in all, that’s football,” he said.
Moyale Barracks played four games and is having 7 points and in position 6, while Dedza with 3 points from 4 games so far played in 13.
Maneno Nyoni of Moyale was voted Man of the Match.
In another Superleague match, Karonga United slapped Mighty Tigers 3 – 1 at Karonga stadium.
Kennedy Mwakabaghe, Saulos Moyo, and Allan Chihana were on target for Karonga while Precious Chiudza scored for the Tigers.
Karonga United is in position 7 from 4 games with 7 points, while the Tigers on position 10, with 4 points from 4 games.
