The government says it is leveraging technology and innovative solutions to enhance abduction outcomes in the country.
Minister of Education, Madalitso Kambauwa Wirima, disclosed this on Wednesday when she opened the Independent Schools Association of Malawi (ISAMA) 2024 National Conference currently underway in Lilongwe.

The minister said the recent natural disasters, including Cyclone Freddy and outbreaks of diseases such as Cholera and COVID-19, gravely disrupted teaching and learning, hence the need for mitigation strategies to deliver quality education amidst climate change-related disasters.
“My ministry is promoting the use of
digital platform solutions that offer a resilient approach to education delivery while enabling schools to continue operating even in the face of adversity,” she said.
president for iSAMA Wyclif Chimwendo said, among others, that the conference is poised to meet an urgent need for action to minimize the impact of climate change effects on education.
