Mudslide kill family in Mzuzu
Four family members confirmed died after a mudslide hit the house while they were sleeping in Mzuzu, Masana area.
According to Police said the incident happened in the wee hours of Saturday March 16, 2023.
Mzuzu received heavy rain from midnight of Friday.
The deceased are the parents and two children, these are Ivy Banda mother Rabison Malindi father and the two children, Alisha Malindi and Frighton Malindi.
According to report the other two children have survived as they were at church for night prayers when the accident happened.
Currently Police through Mzuzu spokesperson Augustine Nkhwazi warn Masasa residents and other areas to watch and careful expection the sorrounding of their homes whether it is safe or not.
