MDFA Holds Prize Presentation for FAM League

Mzuzu District Football Association on Wednesday held prize presentation for 2023 Fam League at Regional Sports Office in Mzuzu where Sonda United were officially crowned champions.
MDFA General Secretary Alphack Mkandawire says he is happy that the season is over and has met its target of developing talent while promising to facilitate trainings for officiating panels to improve the next league.
“We had some challenges of having good referees hence targeting refresher courses and the aim of the league is to develop talent.” Mkandawire said.
Mkandawire further commended teams for observing discpline in the entire league.
Dickson Gondwe says he worked hard to score 12 goals while looking to achieve his target of playing in super league.
Sonda United got K1 000 000 and gold medals while second placed Moyale Barracks Reserve got K400 000 third Daily FC K 200 000
Dickson Gondwe from Chikago FC was awarded for finishing as a Top goal scorer with 12 goals he got cash prize of K50 000
Mzuzu District Football Association FAM League was sponsored by Football Association of Malawi with K3 Million and had 14 teams this season.
