President Hakainde attend The Nc’wala traditional ceremony of the Ngoni
Zambia’s President Hakainde Hichilema graced the Nc’wala traditional ceremony of the Ngoni speaking people following an invitation by His Royal Highness Paramount Chief Mpezeni of Chipata, Eastern Province.
During the ceremony, Hakainde reiterated the need for Zambia as a country to continue upholding their diversity and culture heritage. As Hichilema executes his function as President, he will not be the ones to see his beautiful country divided.
At the same event, the President stated that as government, they stand with all the people of Zambia during these unprecedented droughts that have ravaged various fields posing a danger to food security.
Hakainde Hichilema said he was not sleeping, and he will do everything possible to ensure food security for all. He said as he fights for food security, he also called on Zambians to desist from environmental destruction including deforestation as these affect the climate.
Hichilema reminded Zambians that they were a praying nation. They were a hardworking nation, and truly, God would do the rest.
President Hakainde thanked, Ngwenyama Nkhosi ya ma Nkhosi for inviting him to grace this year’s momentus occasion.
