Tembo amplifies Christs’ way in Nthowa

A promising Mzuzu based Hip hop gospel artist Sibusiso Tembo has said he is set to officially release his new single titled Nthowa on January 31, 2024.
Speaking in an interview on Friday the artist said the song amplifies importance of following Jesus Christ as proclaimed in the Book of John.
“In John 14 vs 16 Jesus tells us that He Is the way the truth and the life and that no one comes to the Father except through him.
“This message reminds us to be cautious when appeasing our own earthly desires for fear of loosing direction and the real life which is Christ,” he said.
Tembo said besides preaching on pulpit he finds music to be an important tool for reaching out to all age groups within and outside the country.
“Gospel music has the potential to reach even nonbelievers and far to reach areas,” he added.
He bemoaned financial constraints as a contribution to delay in production of Nthaowa, a Tumbuka word which mean means ‘way’.
Commenting on Tembo’s Facebook page after he announced about the release of his song, one of his followers Wizlin Shrenkie Ngoni said people need to be strong in fighting evil and follow the path Jesus Christ.
“Nthowa njitali iyi. Nyamula Chiuta. Pemphera, (It is a long way, carry Jesus Christ and pray)” said Ngoni.
Jane Ghambi another Tembo’s Facebook follower encouraged the artist to do more in his evangelism mission.
Among other songs Tembo released are Wasovenge, Christ Lives in Me, Mwana Mberere and Tears.
