“Is the President Dead” set for Lilongwe

After facing some technical hitched to premiere the initial “Is the President Dead” movie in Lilongwe on December 1 this year, producers of the highly anticipated movie has confirmed that they are now set to premiere the film in Lilongwe from December 30 and 31 this year.
Director for Gosm films Isaac Misoya has confirmed in an interview that they have successfully resolved everything pertaining to the technical issues that caused the postponement of premiering the malawian movie in Lilongwe.
Misoya has confirmed that the premiere will serve as an apologetic turn to the film lovers therein following the last technical errors which rendered the premiere of the movie futile and postponed.
The director, who is also a creative force behind the movie, expressed confidence that the upcoming premiere in Lilongwe will leave the patrons asking for more.
Misoya further says Blantyre and Zomba movie premieres held on 23 and 24 December this year respectively were a great joy to the viewers, hence he has all the hope that it shall be the same with people in Lilongwe.
” So far the movie premiere in the two places have been so good and amazing looking at the high numbers of participants. This has encouraged us much more as many of them said they are excited with what they have watched and didn’t believe it’s a malawian movie,” said Misoya
According to Misoya, the movie will be premiered at crossroads hotel in Lilongwe on Saturday and Sunday to get many more feel of the movie before the premiering goes to other places such as Mponera, Kasungu and Mangochi among other places.
” We are still premiering the movie and I hope we will have a good evaluation and appreciate the support from those involved after we are done with our first movie premiere,” the youthful Misoya said
Misoya also disclosed that his company would start making the movie available in cinemas so that many people across the country watch it.
In his comment, the country’s seasoned film maker, Shame Joyah has encouraged people in Lilongwe to spare time and watch the movie which he suggested to be one of the high standards.
” The quality of production is superb and one cannot believe it’s a malawian movie. So people need to come and watch for themselves,” said Joyah, the creative force behind the multi awarded ” last fishing boat” movie.
The “Is The President Dead” movie is according to Misoya, an inspiration to the public on politics mostly on leadership and developmental strategic progresses lobbying them to voice out their views for collaborative efforts on the country’s developmental works.
