All is set for the K20 Million Mzuzu Be Forward Mega Bonanza this Sunday

All is set for the K20 million Mzuzu Be Forward Mega Bonanza scheduled to take place this Sunday at Chibavi ground.

The Bonanza which started early this month has different sporting disciplines like Football, Netball, Volleyball, Draught and Bawo teams with each sport having eight teams making the total number of 32.

The K20 million cash is expected to be disbursed among different sporting activities.

Edward Kashololo Simwaka one of the organizers says the coming of the games has kept the youth away from moral decay behavior while getting monetary benefits on the other hand.

“Since the bonanza started our youth have been busy with sporting activities and have stayed away from wayward behavior which is good for the area and this should be encouraged I urge him to continue.” Simwaka said.

Chiputula United will battle out with Sonda United in football finals while the netball will feature Chibavi Select and Zolozolo, Zolozolo Volleyball Team will take on Msongwe Lions with Umodzi will play Vitumbiko in Bawo.

Chief Executive Officer of JJB Dream Car Imports Jacob Mwakajumba told the media earlier this month that the bonanza is part of corporate social responsibility by the company.

Minister of Youth and Sports Uchizi Mkandawire, Mzuzu City MP Hon. Bennex Mwamulima, Mzuzu City Mayor Desire Nyirenda are some of the high class officials expected to attend the finals.
