Mzuni Students On Rampage Over Fee Hike
Some students at Mzuzu University resolved to go on the streets, in a bid to force government to suspend the tuition fee hike.
Students argued that the Mzuzu University Students Representative Council (Musrec) and University management have failed to reach an agreement on the matter.
The concerned students wondered during a meeting on Friday 15 September 2023 that why was it only Mzuzu University that had effected tuition fee hike in the middle of an academic year unlike other public universities.
However, Musrec President Lucius Banda [not the musician] said he did not support the decision to go on the streets, saying they needed to follow proper procedures.
