Northern Region Simso Innobuild League Launched

The Northern Region Football Association on Saturday launched the MK 15 Million Simso Innobuild League at Mudyaka ground at Tukombo in Nkhatabay district.
Northern Region Football Association General Secretary Masiya Nyasulu says they expect tough competition and good discipline from teams.
“We have witnessed a good game and we believe we will have a good competition and discipline.” Said Nyasulu.
Nyasulu further revealed that the association negotiations are at an advanced stage for an upward sponsorship package from their longest sponsors Simso.
“I can confirm that we are still engaging them for an upward adjustment so that the champions can get a good package before joining the elite league, we are also engaging Jappie Mhango on the man of the match awards sponsorship.” Nyasulu said after the launch.
Speaking on behalf of sponsors, Innobuild Operations manager Fumbani Chirambo says Innobuild is impressed and is ready to continue pumping more money in the Northern Region League.
“We are impressed with how last league went on competition and administration, we raised by 100 percent to MK 10 Million so we believe we will continue and there is probablility of signing a long term sponsorship, we are a Malawian company we believe in giving back to the society.” Chirambo said.
On his part Sulom President Fleetwood Haiya described the league as a steady supply for super league players.

“We have seen several players here who are capable of playing in the elite league and it’s our plea to super league teams to have scouts so that these players can be spotted for better progress of players.” Said Haiya.
In the launch game Kadona Stars came from behind to force a one-all draw against their rivals Chintheche United.
Coach for Kadona Stars Obvious Banda blamed lack of coordination for the draw while his counterpart Chintheche United’s Milan Banda said he is impressed with the play from his players and believes they will get promoted.
The league is jointly sponsored by Simso and Innobuild to the tune of MK 15 Million per season.
