Moyale Barracks Football Team Head Coach Nicolas Mhango sounds unhappy with the Super League fixtures as he has described it as ‘abnormal’ one.

Moyale Barracks played their first two games at Mzuzu Stadium before playing an away game to Kamuzu Barracks in Lilongwe on Sunday.

This week the Lions of Kaning’ina are playing in Blantyre gainst the defending Champions, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets at Kamuzu Stadium.

Meanwhile, Moyale have arrived in Blantyre on Monday, a day after their game against their brothers in arms, KB.

Speaking in an interviews at Kamuzu University of Health Sciences Sports Complex in Blantyre where the team is training, Nicolas Mhango said its abnormal for a Club to cover the costs of travelling from Mzuzu to Lilongwe, back to Mzuzu and then to Blantyre before returning to Mzuzu in a space of 7 days hence deciding not to return home after KB’s game.

“We played our first game at home, second away against Hammers, then travelled to Lilongwe against KB. This week against Bullets away, with Club’s financial status how can a team survive with this schedule?: asks Mhango.

“We came early in Blantyre to cut some expenses, playing in Tnm Superleague is just abnormal to the status of teams, we decided to proceed to Blantyre a day after KB game at least to minimize some costs,” said Mhango.

He added by asking those in positions to look on to it before kickoff of the league.

The team is coming straight from the win against Kamuzu Barracks 1 nil last Sunday at Civo stadium, with the lone goal scored by Gasten Simkonda from the spot.

Earlier in the day on Tuesday Moyale Barracks football team join other Malawians at Kamuzu Stadium paying their last respect to former Malawi National Team Goalkeeper Boniface Maganga who passed away over the weekend.

Moyale Barracks have played three games drawing twice against Karonga United and Ekwendeni Hammers and collected Maximum points over Kamuzu Barracks Fc, they have got 5 points, currently on position 5 in TNM Superleague.
