MAM Challenges Muslims To Be Benevolent

Muslim Association of Malawi (MAM) argues all Muslims in the country not to stop being benevolent as they finish their month of Ramadan after new moon sight .

Muslims are to celebrate Eid al- firt ceremony making the end of their Ramadan fast tomorrow Friday 21 April 2023 or Sartuday 22 of April depending on the moon shoot in this month after the Holly month of Ramadan.

Muslim Association of Malawi (MAM) publicity secretary Sheik Dinala Chabulika says it was God all along without God Ramadan can not be done and during fasting it was a time of transformation .Muslims are expected to do what God’s desire praying earnestly ,helping the needy and the poor are some of the good deeds God likes.

” If one stops doing good deeds after Ramadan then the person was praising the moon and not God.Muslims are expected to be transformed people in every aspects of life be at home work and else where.

He further said everyone is invited on this day including Christians who are interested in learning the beliefs of Muslims as Knowing each other beliefs promote respect among one another and filling the doubt of being different in community.

Eid al-firt falls on different dates every year as it is based on the lunar cycle and does not begin until new moon is sighted by religious authorities . Eid Mubarak is the common greeting on the day which means blessed Eid ,used to which other Muslims well.
