Haiya Calls for Togetherness Amongst Football Journalists

Super League of Malawi (SULOM) President Fleetwood Haiya has asked Football Reporters to work hand in hand in the forth coming TNM Super league season which is about to kickoff next week for the betterment of the sport in Malawi.

Haiya said this on Sunday at a workshop for Football Journalist Association (FJA) in Blantyre as one way of promoting professional reporting.

According to FJA, the attendance of the Sulom president at the event also enhances the working relationship between Sulom and one of its crucial stakeholders, the media.

During his speech Haiya also called upon journalists to be professional and creative in order to help uplift the standards of the country’s top flight league.

In his remarks Vice President of FJA Detrich Fredrich, he thanked Sulom for a quick response of the association proposal for the refresher and promised that the 2023 season will be the best as far as football reporting is concerned.

35 FJA reporters from all three regions of Malawi are attending the workshop.
