Antonio Conte left the spurs for a mutual agreement
Tottenham Hotspur has announced that they have parted ways with their head coach Antonio Conte on mutual agreement.
According to the statement posted on their official Facebook page, the club says Antonio Conte has left the club on mutual agreement and has thanked him for making Tottenham Hotspur qualify for the champions league in his first season as a coach for the Spurs.
“We achieved Champions League qualifications in Antonio’s first season at the club. We thank Antonio for his contribution to the team and wish him well for the future.” Part of the statement says.
The club has also announced that Cristian Stellini will be in charge of the club as Acting Head coach for the remaining games of the season while Ryan Mason will be the Assistant Head coach.
Tottenham Hotspur Chairman Daniel Levy says they will fight hard so that they will book another place in the Champions League and also win the remaining 10 premier league games.
“We have 10 Premier League games remaining and we have a fight on our hands for Champions League place. We all need to pull together. Everyone has to step up to ensure the highest possible finish for our club as amazing, loyal supporters.” Daniel Levy said.
This season Antonio Conte went for gallbladder surgery.
Tottenham Hotspur is in position 4 with 49 points after playing 28 games in the premier league.
