Botswana GOVT Supports Malawi With 15 Tons of Relief Items for Freddy Victims

Minister of Information and Digitalization who is also government spokesperson Moses Kumkuyu on Friday March 24, 2023 witnessed the arrival of 15 tons of food and nonfood items delivered by the Botswanian government at Chileka international Airport meant for people who have been affected by cyclone Freddy.
Speaking after receiving the donation, Kumkuyu said the Botswana government has demonstrated the true friendship to all Malawians.
On his part Botswana’s Assistant Minister for state Kabo Morwange says in his country they believe that when a neighbor is in trouble it is their normal duty to help.
He said; “In Botswana we believe that when the neighbors house caught fire, it is your moral duty to help me.”
The donation has come barely few days after the visit of Botswana’s Minister for state, Kabo Morwange who came on Sunday to asses the the situation that the Cyclone Freddy caused in Malawi.
