No time to rest, Chakwera to visit Cyclone Freddy victims

President Lazarus MC Cathy Chakwera is expected this morning to leave for Blantyre where cyclone Freddy has hit hardly in the country and speculate the other districts in the southern region that have also been affected.
Chakwera has arrived yesterday from Qatar where he attended the United Nations least developed countries summit.
Meanwhile former President of Malawi Professor Author Peter Mutharika is also expected to visit and cheer survivors of Tropical Cyclone Freddy .
The statement from Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) indicates that Mutharika will this afternoon arrive at Matope primary School camp in Nditande and Good Samaritan camp at Green corner .
So far yesterday 6 cabinet ministers toured the camps and Minister of finance Sosten Gwengwe ,called upon all Malawians to render help to the victims of the cyclone and Minister of Education Madalitso Kambawuwa Wilima ,announced that schools will steal remain closed temporarily until Friday in the districts hit by the cyclone.
