Chakwera’s son in-law Kampondeni eleminated on his roles

His excellency Dr. Lazarus McCathy Chakwera has today eliminated Sean Kampondeni as state house director of communication.

Mr Kent Mphepo a social and behaviour change communications expert is the successor of Kampondeni , to work as his Excellence’s assistant and Speechwriter in the office of the President and will be assigned other duties therein going forward.Reasons for Kampondeni’s removal are not stated in the press release from state house dated 4 March 2023.

This comes just 2 days after the Presidential Advisor on Peace, Reconciliation and National unity resigned as well as Malawi Congress Party National publicity secretaryresigned from his roles.
