Silver release 2023 technical staff as Mpulura demoted

Silver Strikers Football Club continues to prepare for the 2023 Football Season as the Club has released the full technical staff.
The Bankers who have recruited the new Head Coach [Pieter De Jongh] have released a 16-man technical staffs to lead the team in the forthcoming season in their quest to take the Club back to the top in the domestic football.
The Area 47-based side endured one of their worst seasons last year firing three coaches due to poor performance of the Club. Among other things that the Club have already done ahead of the season are axing fringe players and signing their replacements.
Through a press release signed by the company’s secretary, Peter Masiye, the 16 people that have formed the technical staff will be taking care of their three teams, Silver Strikers Senior Team, Silver Strikers Reserve and Silver Strikers U-20.
According to the press release, former Ekwendeni Hammers Head Coach, Etson-Kadenge Mwafulirwa who joined the Club as an assistant coach to Leo Mpulura will remain the assistant coach to the Dutch, De Jongh while Silver Strikers legend, Peter Mgangira is the second assistant coach.
Victor Mphande and Young Chimodzi Jnr are the goalkeeper’ trainer and Team Manager respectively while Chikondi Kamanga and Andrew Mtalimanja are the Team Doctors and Physiotherapist in that order.
Macdonald Yobe who was demoted due to poor performance before being replaced by Mpulura will remain the Head Coach of Silver Strikers Reserve and he will be assisted by Rodrick Gonani and Davie Moya with Lyton Mangani and Thoko Stambuli filling the positions of goalkeeper trainer and Team Manager respectively.
Leo Mpulura has been demoted to the head coach of Silver Strikers under-20 after failing to beat the targets that was placed on him after taking over the duty of coaching the main team from Silver Strikers Reserve.
Mpulura and Etson-Kadenge Mwafulirwa were given the targets of winning the Airtel Top-8 Cup and finishing in top 4 of the tnm Super League but they missed all the targets as the were booted out of the Airtel Cup by Nyasa Big Bullets and finished fifth in league.
Green Harawa will be assisting him while Sibusiso Padambo is the Goalkeeper trainer and Jack Chiona is the Team Manager.
