Bwabwa,Luwazi And Blue Sport Progress into Last four of Mzuzu district Fam league

The Mzuzu District FAM league knockout stages commenced this weekend with eight teams battling it out to find a place in the semifinals.
On Saturday Bwabwa United defeated Katoto United by two goals to One in a match which was played at Ekwendeni Community Ground.
Games continued on Sunday with Luwazi United claiming victory by five goals to four through penalty shootouts after a 2 all draw in regulation time And Blue Sport severely punished Matabwa Hammers by six goals to two at Ekwendeni Community Ground.
Alphack Mkandawire General Secretary for the league has confirmed that a match between Green Rangers And Geisha United which was supposed to be played on Saturday has been rescheduled to Wednesday next week due to other problems.
Sports Analyst Robert Nyambose has praised the level of competition he has seen so far in the league.
“We have watched good football this weekend with all teams playing really good And also utilising youth players which is good for the development of the game in the country And I Hope other teams are able to scout few talents that we have seen during the weekend”.He
In the semifinal scheduled for 25 & 26 of February 2023 Luwazi United will face Bwabwa United at Luwinga Sports Complex on Saturday And on Sunday Blue Sport will play the winner between Green Rangers And Geisha United to determine the finalist.
