NRYFC preparations for the new season underway

Northern Region Youth Football Committee ( NRYFC) has announced that the 2023 edition of First Capital Bank Cup is back And teams should start preparing.
Mwai Kumwenda Vice General Secretary for the committee has disclosed that they have sent communication to all district committees to tell all teams that they should start preparing as this years tournament will start in April.
According to Kumwenda this time around they will be serious with age screening as they want only legible players to participate.
“This years tournament we will be very much serious with age cheating as we want players who wants to play for under 20 to start at 19 years of age And under 17 will start at 16 years of age And under 14 will Not change” he said.
Kumwenda continued to say that as a committee they are trying hard that this season every district should participate unlike in the past when Chitipa,Mzimba And Likoma were Not participating due to some other factors.
” We want to change things unlike in the past Chitipa, Likoma And Mzimba were Not participating in our leagues but now we want to involve them as there is also alot of Talent in these districts And I would like to take this opportunity to call upon teams which plays in Fam league, Simso-Innobuild, Super league to start recruiting these youth talents as nowadays football lies in youths” he concluded
