Malawi’s leading Property developer Innobuild has awarded plots to four journalists for their contribution toward visibility of the company through their stories.
Speaking at the event held at Innobuild offices in Lilongwe on Tuesday Chief Executive Officer for Innovative Building Billy Jonathan Chiotha says the media has been supportive towards growth and visibility of the company.
“The media has contributed towards our visibility through their stories hence we introduced the awards to motivate, encourage journalists and as our corporate social responsibility” Said Chiotha.
The plots were awarded to Chris Loka of Daily Times, Noel Mkwaila of Malawi Wathu, Benard Mwanza of Luntha TV and Nation Publication’s Pledge Jali.
While recognition awards went to Malawi Guardian’s Mike Zgambo, Benard Mhone of Times and Patwell Phiri of Nkhoma FM who received Smartphones.
Innobuild is the main subsidiary of Nasi Holdings which has several businesses like Advert Private schools, InnoPay and microfinance institution Nasi Enterprise just to mention a few.
