North UNAYO Division One title on the line

Northern Region UNAYO division One cup comes to An end this coming Sunday as Chitipa Young K from Chitipa will meet Songwe Kamu from Karonga.
Chitipa Young K defeated Chihame All Stars by two goals to One at Rumphi Stadium to Progress into the finals while Songwe Kamu defeated Ulisa FC 3-1 on penalties after a 2 all draw in regulation time.
Technical Director for Chitipa Young K Kachali has described reaching the finals as a very big milestone for the team And they are ready to take home the title.
“I can’t lie to you am a very excited Person reaching a final of Unayo Division One And being our first time its big achievement to us And we will fight real hard in finals so that we take the trophy home in Chitipa” explains Kachali.
His counterpart Arnold Mwangomba head coach for Songwe Kamu says it has been a tough journey to the finals and they won’t let Chitipa take the trophy at their own backyard.
” It has been a tough ride to reach this final we have met alot of good teams on our way And we won’t let Chitipa take the cup on our own backyard, we want to make the people of Karonga by winning this cup in front of them” he Said
On the Same they will be a third place match between Chihame All Stars FC against Ulisa FC at Luwinga Sports Complex from 2:30pm.
According to officials from Unayo they will be a trophy parade from Karonga town up to Karonga stadium And they will be various items that will be distributed on the Day.
Northern Region Football Association has confirmed that gate charges for both matches is K300 but if you bring a national ID And register with Unayo you will only pay K100 to watch the matches.
