Thabwa, Fatima road construction works in coma

Hope to have a tarmac road from Thabwa to Fatima in Chikwawa has come to an end as some materials (culverts) apportioned for the development are being relocated to others sites of construction.

This follow after big cars were seen in the community loading culverts to Chingeni and Zalewa-Mwanza.

Meanwhile, it has come to our attention that there is something happening or the current regime (TONSE ALLIANCE) has changed its plan to finish the construction rather allowing the community struggle to ferry patients on referral to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) in Blantyre and transport their agricultural products to near market.

The Malawi road authority are yet to comment on the development since their handset are not reachable.
