Advent Private Secondary school does it again

As Malawi School Certificate of Education is out one of the leading Private secondary school Advent Private Secondary do it again with 62 percent pass rate.

This is a great achievement comparing to last year as it was 54 percent pass rate.

A three year old school that started with 22 percent pass rate is growing with high performance.

In her remarks Mrs Esther Chiwotha Assistant School manager said their secret is team work and good relationship.

“Well qualified teachers,Team work spirit, Good relationship among members of staff, parents and management is our most secret, we do one on one discussion between parents and teachers concerning the performance of their wards and that members of staff get enough support from management regarding teaching and learning resources”

“Making sure that discipline is observed by both members of staff and students, and son top of that we make sure that we finish syllabus in time” she said.

She added that this year’s school calendar planned to achieve over 100 percent Junior Certificate Examination pass rate and over 80 percent Malawi School Certificate of Education pass rate with a highest grade of a single digit.

Chiwotha said: “Well qualified, committed and dedicated teachers who can mould students to the extent of passing exams with good grades.

“Reasonable school fees which is allowed to be paid in two instalments and Full security to students as students are not allowed to go out of the school campus
without a valid reason, on top of that We have a good number of teaching and learning resources”
