Mayamiko, Embangweni Progress into the Last 8 of Nyasa Finance Capital Cup

On Sartuday Mayamiko Stars progressed into the last 8 of Nyasa Capital Finance Cup after defeating Karonga United Reserve at Karonga stadium by 3 goals to 2.

The game started with both teams showing hunger to find an early goal And in no time Clever Kaira scored after receiving a beautiful cross from mapopa kaunda to give mayamiko a lead but Karonga United Reserve equalised some minutes later through blessings matupi And first half it ended in draw.

Second half all teams had chances to give their teams a lead but attackers were shy in the front of the goal.A double substitution by Mayamiko brought in lifeline as Davie Lameck scored just minutes after being introduced before setting up for Saulos Moyo for a third goal.

Karonga looked More dangerous towards the end as they scored their second but at end of it all Mayamiko Stars carried the Day by 3 goals to 2.
