Baka City moves on Second position in the Simso Innobuild league

Baka City on Sunday afternoon deafeted Mzimba United 1 nil at Karonga Stadium to move second on the log table.

Baka City started the match on higher note trying to find a quick goal but their attackers were too wasteful in front of the goal And half time the match ended in a draw.

Second half both teams created alot of chances in order to find a goal but to no avail until towards the end of the second half when baka City was awarded a penalty And Geoffrey Mwakiyembe made no mistake to seal a win for Baka City.

With that win Baka City have moved to second position with 15 points 2 points behind league leaders Chitipa United

Mzimba United who are One of the title contenders are without a win in three back to back matches having lost to Kadona Stars, Chitipa United And Baka City

In other matches Ekwendeni United lost by 3 goals to 1 at home by Chintheche United at Ekwendeni community ground.
