Kabitchi extends his stay at Bullets

10 years is not enough for the Veteran midfielder, Henry Kabitchi at Nyasa Big Bullets as he has penned a one-year contract with the Club.

The Blantyre based giants announced the development on Wednesday Morning saying that the seasoned player will stay at the Club until 2023.

“Nyasa Big Bullets is delighted to announce that Henry Kabitchi has agreed a one-year contract, keeping him at the People’s team until August 2023,” reads part of the statement.

After signing his new deal, Kabitchi was happy to continue his pedigree with Kalisto Pasuwa’s led technical panel.

He said, “I joined the club at a time when things weren’t working in terms of finances and we had spent years without winning anything, but we kept on going and I was lucky to win my first trophy in my first season. We had to fight using what we had and I am glad the team has reached this far and I am also happy to be part of the history we have made so far.

“It’s an honour to continue serving the club I love. I have been at Bullets for 10 years and I have won trophies with this noble club, and to extend my contract for another year is something which has made me a happy person. I will continue giving it all for the badge and I would like to thank the management, the technical panel, my fellow players and the supporters for the support that I have received throughout my stay here.”

Kabitchi joined the people’s from Mighty Wanderers in 2012 and has helped the team to win Super League five times [2014, 2015, 2018, 2019-20, 2021], Presidential Cup Two times [2012, 2016,] Carlsberg Cup in 2019, Airtel Top 8 Cup in 2021,and FDH Bank Cup in 2022 and Five Charity Shield Cups.
