Following the result, the Dedza outfit have amassed 39 points on the TNM Super League log table after playing 25 games and are now sitting on position 8.
Speaking after the game, Dedza Dynamos Salima Sugar Fc head coach Dan Dzimkambani praised his boys for fighting hard to beat the soldiers.
Dzimkambani narrated that his boys played very well in the second half and three points they got will really help them as far as TNM Super League competition is concerned.
“What we wanted today was to collecting maximum points which we did. We will keep fighting to finish this season on good position especially finishing in top 8,” He said.
However the former Karonga United coach said they will keep on preparing for the remaining assignments as two days later they will face Silver Strikers at Dedza stadium.
According to the coach, what he wants is to see his side continuing enjoying good form as the team have now managed to collecting seven points out of nine points in three consecutive games they played at Dedza stadium.
They beat Tigers by a goal to nill before holding Moyale Barracks to a 1-all stalemate last week.
Dzimkambani further predicted a tough game against the Bankers who have lost by single goal to nill at Bingu National Stadium to Mighty Tigers on Saturday.
“We will only rest for few hours before facing Silver Strikers at Dedza stadium on Monday. We need to forget about today’s result and focus on our next assignment,” He said.
The coach further said he will wait for the medical reports from the team doctor as three Dedza Dynamos Salima Sugar Fc players sustain injuries during the Saturday game including the team’s captain Justice Chihoma, Christopher Phiri and Lughano Kayira.
On his part, Mafco assistant coach Jimmy Zunga said it was a good game despite the loss but he blamed the officiation panel for favoring Dedza Dynamos Salima Sugar Fc.
Zunga said it was not a clear penalty which was awarded to Dedza Dynamos Salima Sugar Fc and he believed that if the officiation was vibrant it could be different at the end of match.
“Of course, I am not a referee but that was not supposed to be a penalty but anyway we have welcomed the result,” He said.
On whether his is satisfied with the team’s performance this season as they are on position 5 with 40 points after playing 26 games, Zunga said he will comment about the performance of the team after playing the remaining games.
“Let me not comment now on that question because we have remains with other games to play therefore allow me to comment on it in future,” Zunga said.
During the game, Dedza Dynamos Salima Sugar Fc forward Clement Nyondo was voted as player of the match.
Meanwhile the game between the two sides grossed 1,345,000.00.
