Tn Stars vow not to be relegated

TN Stans Team Manager Ken Mtuwa is optimistic that his side will not be relegated in TNM Super League despite the team failing to collect maximum points at Kasungu stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Mtuwa made the reaction after his side was hammered by Silver Strikers where Silver Strikers came from behind to beat the Kasungu outfits by 1-3 and China Chirwa netted the first goal for TN Stans after connecting good cross from Alexander Cosmass just 2 minutes of first half.

However the Central Bankers equalised through Chawanangwa Kaonga before the break and the Bankers added another two goals from former Mzuzu Warriors forward Vunga Uchizi before Chawanangwa Kaonga completed his brace.

Speaking after the match Ken Mtuwa said it was good a game despite failed to collect the points but he was quick to said they are still hoping to remain in the elite League.

“If you can look on the logtable you can agree with me that we are not much far with other teams and if we can win two or three games definitely we will survive therefore I should inform everyone that we will not be relegated,” he said.

Meanwhile Silver Strikers assistant coach Mcdonald Yobe said they used experience to beat TN Stans added that they will keep on working hard to keep on collecting the points.

“I am happy that we have managed to collect all three points. It was easy game as we just used the experience to beat them,” he said.

Following the results, TN Stans are still on position 15 with 12 points after playing 21 games while Silver Strikers are now on position 5 with 37 points after playing 21 games.
