Moyale Aim To Maintain Good Form

Moyale Barracks Coach Prichard Mwansa has vowed to maintain the current winning form of the team in the Tnm superleague second round.

Mwansa said this on Sunday (today) ahead of the game against Sable Farming Fc at Mzuzu stadium.

He said playing at home mrans they will do everything possible to amass maximum points while acknowledging that Sable are a good side.

“Sable are a good side, winning against them in Blantyre it was another game and this is another game. They are doing fine as they are fighting for survival but as Moyale, we will try as much as possible to control the game.

“We need to work hard and encourage the boys to maintain the performance that they showed in Karonga last week.

“We are now improving, we have played almost 5 games, winning four and losing one, this means that there is an improvement and these boys are working hard, doing really good. If we maintain this performance, am sure that we will finish on a good position but it will be tough because Sable are a good side,” said Mwansa.

Sable Farming Football Club mentor Mcdonald Mtetemera, whose team were beaten by Ekwendeni Hammers on Saturday, said this is another game another team as well.

“We lost to Hammers and Moyale is another team with different game as well, so we will fight, and let me make it clear that come rain sunshine Sable will not be relegated from the league and mark my words, Sable will remain in the league,” said Mtetemela.

Moyale Barracks are on a four-games winning streak after beating Mafco, Karonga United, Tigers and Ekwendeni Hammers.

Moyale collected maximum points from Sable in the first round after beating them by two goals to nill with Raphael Phiri claiming a brace at Mpira Stadium on May 12, 2022.

Moyale sit on position 8 with 29 points from 20 games played, while Sable occupy 14th place with 15 points from 19 games.
