Guards, Cleaners seal MUBAS gate over unpaid salaries

Security guards and Campus cleaners at Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences, MUBAS, Chichiri Campus have closed all gates stopping the institution’s officials and students from entering the premises; demanding their unpaid three months salaries.

Meanwhile, the guards, under Mass Security Company, have since disrupted UK’s ABMA examinations being written at the institution.

Candidates sitting for the exams are currently outside the campus as concerned parties in the matter are locked up in a meeting.

Both MUBAS and security company officials have not commented.
