DPP to start ejecting brazen members from the party

The former rulling party, Democratic Progressive have hinted that they will start dealing with the members of the party who are not devoted and disrespecting the party.
They say there are individuals within the party who are destroying, dividing and tarnishing the face of the party, a behaviour that they said the party will not accommodate.
Speaking at a mega rally held in Blantyre on Sunday, Democratic Progressive Party regional governor for the South Charles Mchacha who is also the candidate to vy for the Party’s Presidency said every member of the party has the obligation to respect all the rules.
“We have some individuals who are bringing confusion in the party by disrespecting our leader, Peter Mutharika. We have rules and everyone must respect the rules.
“Just because these people are tarnishing the face of our party, we are saying enough is enough. Those who feel that they don’t need the party, they are free to leave and form their own party,” said Mchacha.
Mchacha who announced his intention to contest for the Presidency of the party at the convention next year said DPP will not allow anyone to hold rallies under their name without being granted permission from.the authority.
He accused the party Vice President for the South Kondwani Nankhukwa who is also the leader of Opposition for disrespecting the party as he held the rally under the party some weeks ago in Blantyre.
Meanwhile, the Party’s National Executive Committee member George Chapomda has called for the Party’s Presidential aspirants to be cooperate and work together.
Chaponda said Unity is the only weapon to to defeat the Tonse Alliance that he described as the failure as they are yet to to conform their promises that it made both on economic and leadership fronts.
“We need to be United for us to bounce back. Discipline is also very important, ” said Chaponda.
