Wanderers keep contract resolutions under wraps

Mighty Mukuru Wanderers board have kept their the lid tight on the resolutions that they have made at the board meeting that took place on Thursday in Blantyre.
The Board called for a meeting to have a discussions on the future of the technical panel members and some players whose contracts have expired on August 31, 2022.
Mighty Wanderers appointed Alex Ngwira on an interim basis last month but his performance in the last games looks promising and there is the possibility that the former Mzuzu Warriors and Chitipa United mentor could clinch a permanent job with the Lali Luban based team.
Ngwira beat Dedza Dynamos on his first game before playing a 3-all stalemate against Nyasa Big Bullets. He also dismantled Kamuzu Barracks in the FDH Bank Cup Quarterfinals when they smashed them by 4 goals to one.
Other members of the technical whose contracts have expired are Assistant Coach Albert Mpinganjira, Technical director, Eddington Ng’onamo, Team Manager Foster Namwera, goalkeeper trainer Simplex Nthala, Bob Mpinganjra and Joseph Kamwendo.

Mighty Wanderers’ public relations Officer, Ernest Maganga said they have agreed to open mouth to the journalists on the resolutions made at the meeting as there are some issues that need to be sorted out before they make announcements.
Maganga said they will make the announcement on the technical panel members next week after the review on some issues.
“So far so good, there some issues that we had to discuss and we have made decisions. We are not going to speak to the press until next week. We have agreed that we should not have a press until we sort out some issues that are yet to be resolved, ” said Maganga.
Flames Striker, Robin Ngalande is undergoing trials with the Club and his future is also going to be known next week.
However, according the reports that this publication has received, the technical panel for the Nomads is satisfied with the performance of the former Athletico Madrid Reserve star and he is on the verge of being given a contract.
