Dimba praise teams in 5 million Ipite Trophy

The sponsor of 5 million Ipite Trophy in Kapiri-Mchinji district, Aubrey Dimba says he is impressed with the ongoing football trophy that he launched some months ago.
According to Dimba, all teams that reached the quarter-finals of the competition are displaying good football at his stadium, Aubrey Dimba Stadium in the district.
Last week Kamuzu Barracks Reserve booted out Malambo Fc from Zambia by 2-1 in an entertaining match to reach the semifinals of competition.
However the action to book the place of semifinals will continues this weekend on Sunday as battle for Lilongwe gaints between Silver Strikers Reserve and St Gabriel Medicals will entertain football fraternity in Kapiri.
Meanwhile, Dimba has describe this year competition as more competitive compare to last year.
“I am more than happy with the way the competition is progressing. People are enjoying real football here in Mchinji and surrounding districts,” he says.
Dimba further asked all TNM Super League and lower league officials to keep on coming at Aubrey Dimba stadium if they want to find real talent.
He also ask football lovers to keep on coming at the venue to watch and supporting their teams with peace adding that in quarterfinals and semifinals only one team progresses and they should accept the outcomes of the game.
They trophy started last year with amount of 2.5 million kwacha before doubling it this year to 5 million kwacha.
Last year Nyasa Big Bullets Reserve were clowned as champions of the trophy after hammering Silver Strikers Reserve by 4-2.
