Eagles completed the transfer of Gototo some weeks ago but they were failing to use him as he was yet to cleared by his former bosses, Ekwendeni Hammers and yet to be registered with Eagles on Mpira Connect.

“Yes, both Rabson and Gototo have travelled with the squad to Blantyre. We just want them to replicate the performance from their respective previous clubs to Blue Camp,” said Kananji.

The pacey and talented left-footed winger was released from Mighty Wanderers before joining the Mzuzu based Hammers.

He added that they have had thorough preparations for the game and hope three points will go to their side but anticipates a tough game.

Mighty Tigers are in jungle hinting for the three points, their last win was on May 8, 2022 against TN Stars.

“It will not be an easy game, yes we defeated them in the first round at our home but I hope that this time, they are eager to revenge on us. They are side that have been tough on Blue Eagles for the past years, so we are not going there relying on the past results. So we are going there with our guns blazing hunting for the 3 points.

“We have had thorough preparations and fortunately we don’t have any injury in our camp. We will miss Sankhani Mkandawire who is serving his two yellow cards but the rest are available for selection,” said Kananji.

With 16 points from 18 games, on number 12, Coach for Mighty Tigers, Trevor Kajawa is under fire as fans last weekend demanded his suck after a defeat to Sable Farming.

A win for Tigers will ease Kajawa’s pressure and will lift the Kau-Kau Boys to 19 points.

Elsewhere, Coach for Sable Farming Mcdonald Mtetemera said he is eyeing to register a back to back win as his team face the Servants, Civil Service United at Mpira Stadium.

Sable are coming from a convincing 2-0 win over Tigers last weekend while Franco Ndawa’s men are coming from a 1-all draw against City rivals, Silver Strikers.
