The 2nd batalion of Malawi defence force Kamuzu Barracks Head Coach, Charles Kamanga said he is happy with the FDH Bank Cup draw that was held yesterday in Blantyre that saw the Chioko Boys being paired with Mighty Wanderers.

Kamanga said its better that they are facing a side that they very familiar with unlike a daunting task they would have facing a team from regional league.

Kamuzu Barracks beat Mighty Wanderers in the first round of the tnm Super League at Kamuzu Stadium and Kamanga said his charges are ready to repeat what they did in the first round.

“We are happy with the draw. We need to beat good teams like Mighty Wanderers to win the FDH Bank Cup,” said Kamanga.

Reacting to the draw, Mighty Wanderers Head Coach who has replaced Eddington Ng’onamo as the boss of the technical panel Alex Ngwira said they will take one game at a time as the Nomads aim to turn the season around.

Meanwhile, Nyasa Big Bullets and Blue Eagles are facing teams from Regional Leagues while Extreme FC and Changalume Barracks will face each other in another mouth-watering game.

Sports analyst, Kelvin Moyo says Super League teams, Bullets and Blue Eagles will be under pressure when facing Chitipa United and Bullets Reserve respectively in the quarterfinals.

The quarterfinals are expected to be played next weekend but the venues are yet to be announced.
