Moyale Hope To Start Second Round on a High
As the journey continues in the Tnm superleague encounter, Moyale Barracks football team is set to start the second round at home against mighty Tigers at Mzuzu stadium with the hope of amassing maximum points.
Tigers beat Moyale in the first round with a goal to nil, at Chiwembe stadium in Blantyre.
Speaking as the team had it’s last training session on Friday, Assistant coach Victor Chingoka said all is set to collect maximum points over Wakawaka Tigers.
“We are set and with the way players did their trainings we do have hope that we are going to win this match,” he said.
Chingoka added that the coming of other old players like Boy Boy Chima and others is another boost to the team.
“We welcome back our veteran players we are talking of Chrispine Fukizi Ntopijo Njewa and Boy Boy Chima back to the squad, this will boost morale to our camp and people should expect more entertaining football in the second round as we leave no stone but collecting points,” said Chingoka.
In an interview, Wakawaka Tigers Technical director Robin Alufandika said they are in the north for one reason, a win.
“We are here for one reason that to beat Moyale and collect points then off we go,” he said.
Moyale to kick off second round on position 9 with 17, while Tigers is on position 12 with 13 points.
Nyasa Big Bullets still on top on the league with 41 points, and seconded by Blue Eagles with 30 points.
