The lethal striker, Christopher Gototo who was playing on loan for the Super League side, Sable Farming has returned to his Club, Ascent Soccer Academy.

The forward joined the Chiradzulu-based side, Sable Farming on a long-season loan but things have changed in a twist of events as the Ascent Soccer Academy pens a letter to the Farmers asking for the release of their striker.

According to the letter signed by the Director of Ascent Soccer Academy, Thom Mkolongo has asked Sable Farming to free their starlet in the next 24 hours.

In a letter, Mkolongo further tasked Sable to initiate a transfer process for the player back to Ascent Soccer Academy as soon as possible on Mpira connect network platform.

Meanwhile, Anthony Kafuwa, Sable Farming General Secretary said the Club will bow down to their counterpart’s decision.

“He was an important player to our team but his move will not affect the performance of Sable Farming. As Sable, we rely on teamwork rather than individual brilliance. We accept the decision of Gototo’s parent Club,” said Kafuwa.

Gototo is currently the top scorer for the Chiradzulu-based farmers having netted 4 goals in the first round of the 2022 tnm Super League campaign and the team have been struggling in finding goals and they have managed to score only 12 goals so far.

Ascent Soccer Acadamy play in the Chipiku Central Region Football League. On July 17, the Club lost the services of their attacking midfielder, Lovemore Mbeta who has travelled to Spain for trials with CF Velez.
