Police in Chikwawa are keeping six more people of armed robbery who are suspected of having attacked businessmen in the district.
Two other suspects were arrested in May this year after robbing two businessmen a money amounting to K3.5 million and seriously injured them at Masenjere Trading Centre in East Bank in the same District.
Chikwawa Police Station Publicist, Dickson Matemba said Police have been working tirelessly since the arrest of the two to catch more others suspected to have been involved in the malpractice.
The suspects have been identified as Ganizani Buleya, 23, Felix Chisala, 24, Muhammad, 21, Mike Chipala, 28, Elias Malikita, 28 and Amod Mapeto 24.
The culprits are expected to appear before the court soon to reply to the charges grounded against them. Police in the district have since assured the habitats that they are providing maximum security for their lives and property.
